Both the "NAAFI" restaurant and "Mess" Bar are located close to the airfield perimeter track and thus afford excellent views of taxiing aircraft and also aircraft taking off and landing on both runways.
The Squadron’s "NAAFI" restaurant is housed in one of the two original 1940s RAF buildings which were dismantled and moved from the south-east side of the airfield to their current location.
The "NAAFI" has a varied seasonal menu and is open from 0900 to 1500 daily. It is also available for fixed-menu private functions and offers barbecues for large parties in the summer months. For further details, please contact us.
The Squadron’s "Mess" bar is housed in a Nissen hut and is not only used for refreshments but also for film shows, aviation-themed talks and advanced flight training briefings.
It is open from 1200 to 1900 on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays and by prior arrangement.
